Macleay Island Taxi Services Pty Ltd (“we”) operates Macleay Island Taxi. This notice explains what we do with information you give us through this website.

What we collect

When you send a booking request we collect the passenger name, a callback phone number, pickup and destination, requested date and time, number of passengers and any notes you choose to add. We also keep a record of how we handled the request (for example when we called you and whether it was confirmed). We do not collect payment card details through this website.

Why we use it

We use this information only to arrange your trip: to tell our dispatch team about your request, to call you to confirm it, and to keep a basic record of the trip.

Who processes it for us

Our website and booking records are hosted by Cloudflare. A summary of each request (reference, time, name, callback number, pickup and destination) is sent by text message to our taxi phone using an SMS provider. These providers may process data outside Australia. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep booking request records for as long as Queensland law requires, after which they are deleted from our booking system.
